Speedrunners are already finishing Metroid Dread in record times

Samus Aran (サムス · アラン, Samusu Aran) is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Science Fiction METROID video game series. Created by Hiroji Kiyotake, she made her first appearance in 1986 in the Metroid game. Samus Aran is an ex-soldier of the Galactic Federation that has become an intergalactic premium hunter, generally equipped with motorized armor with weapons that include directed energy and missile weapons, as well as the ability to take the shape of a ball, the morphing ball.

Metroid Dread Finally came to our hands a few weeks ago, which means that a lot of fans around the world already had the opportunity to enter the most recent adventure of Samus Aran. Inevitably arose discussions about their duration, but do not worry, that unlike these speedruners, you can wait many hours of fun in this new delivery.

Last week we told you about certain YouTubers and Streamers that had already managed to finish Dread in just under two hours, but it seems that this list is still and continues to grow as time passes.

This is said because in the Speedrun.com qualifying table, eight of the fastest Speedrunners have already managed to finish Dread in less than 90 minutes. At the time of writing, there are 50 players with one hour times with 40 minutes, while the Top 163 is about two hours.

Editor s note: The duration of Metroid Dread has been one of its most criticized points since its launch, and although plenty to say, you should not let yourself be carried away by the speedrunners because then, to that they are dedicated. He also remembers that the game s watch does not reflect the exact time that you spent that adventure, so if you really want to know how many hours it took you to finish it, better takes the time apart.
