At the beginning of this year, we reported that the Uncharted developer Naughty Dog is currently working on three projects at the same time. The developer studio shared a series of new job advertisements in various fields of video game development via their Twitter channel Naughty Dog Jobs. Specials turned at the time about the stand-alone multiplayer title based on the Faction Mode of the Last of Us, the Remake of the Last of Us, to which there are already some leaks, and a completely new offshoot of the-load Of-US series.

As it looks, at least one of these three projects is a new title in the popular Uncharted series. As VGC discovered, Christina-Marie Drake McBrearty now stops a position as a recruiter for the developer studio. McBREARTY explains in your LinkedIn post that you will help to occupy a variety of roles, “_ with a focus on creative positions. She continues to write that she is “future teams not only build up for new titles, but also for the legacy of uncharted.” _

It is not known what McBrearty is here with exactly. So far, it is quite quiet about a possible uncharted 5, and rumors are also rather mentioned as mentioned the the last-of-US franchise. In the legacy of uncharted, or as she writes in English, “Legacy,” could be a word game about Uncharted: The Lost Legacy or the Legacy of Thieves Collection. In the meantime, however, all flagship titles of the Uncharted series received a remaster in some form, which makes another Remaster edition quite unlikely. According to a pretty cryptic tweets of the Naughty Dog Ceos Neil Printant, the studio could currently work on three games at the same time.

For a long time the Uncharted series, it was quiet, but especially with the success of the recently published Uncharted film, it is unlikely that Naughty Dog wants to leave the franchise behind. Since the studio is still in the process of setting new talents, it will certainly take a while until we receive concrete information about a new Uncharted project. But for fans of the series there is at least a few reasons to be a little optimistic about the future (and the legacy) of uncharted.
